First and seventh-grade buddies got together today to work on a Thanksgiving activity. Everyone did great work! Gobble Gobble!

The 8th grade had a debate about the narrator’s reliability after reading one of the stories in their weekly collections. There were 2 groups and a jury with Mrs. Williams as the judge.

Today the Springfield Fire Department met with our Pre-K 3, 4, and Kindergarten students to talk about Fire Safety. The students learned what to do if they ever find themselves in a fire, how to stop, drop and roll, and about the firefighters’ clothing.  They even had a chance to try squirting the fire hose. Miss Leicht even got to try on one of the firefighters’ clothes.

Congratulations to Mariam and Alexa, two of our 8th graders on making the All-Star Volleyball team. We are so proud of you! Come support the Varsity Volleyball team at their last home game tonight here at Holy Cross at 6:00 pm.
